There are many different ways of designing unforgeable tickets, documents and branded products. Diagramm Halbach now presents the very first compendium of security features. Entitled „Designing security", this manual contains a plethora of security concepts, including features incorporated into the paper, as well as printed and applied features, such as holograms, classified according to security level.

As Matthias Oelenberg, head of ticket and security printing sales, explains, „In the course of many discussions with our customers, many of them have expressed the desire for a clearly arranged compilation of possible security features. The security printing manual enables us to demonstrate the way in which the various security features work with original examples. The effects of the respective security printing solutions can be reproduced impressively with a few essential test instruments."

The security manual was presented in time for the 2nd Schwerte Ticket Security Symposium and met with a unanimous response: The reference book „Designing security" constitutes a very useful tool for the discussion and development of professional security printing concepts in the fields of ticketing, document security, product protection and trademark protection.
